SR-psychology
SR psychology, stimulus-response psychology, is a common
term for psychological theories in which behaviors are
regarded as responses (reactions) to specific stimuli.
Learning, in this view, can be considered as forming new
bonds (associations) between S and R, inner psychological
processes are perceived as "intermediate variables" between
S and R and so on. Of the classic SR theories, in
particular Edward L. Thorndike's " connectionism ", John B.
Watson's and Clark L. Hull's behaviorism, and Ivan
Pavlov's and Vladimir Bekhterev's " reflexology " had a
great influence. |
